Published English translation

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Nu‘man from Sayf ibn ‘Amira from Abu Bakr al-Hadrami who has said the following: "Ja'da bint al-Ash‘ath ibn Qays al-Kindi poisoned al-Hassan ibn Ali (a.s.) and a female servant of the Imam (a.s.). The female servant, however, vomited the poison, but in the case of al-Hassan (a.s.) the poison remained in his digestive system and caused swelling that killed him.”

Publisher content rights, translator attribution and structural checks, with independent publisher-page spot checks—not scholarly authentication or printed-edition collation. Historical text and scholarly reference strings may contain source errors; they are not silently corrected. No full commentary prose or inferred narrator identity is added. Muʿjam coverage, where present, is only the supplied excerpt, not the complete work.
