Published English translation

7. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Dawud from Mufaddal from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “For pains say, ‘In the name of Allah, and with (the help of) Allah, how much is of the bounties of Allah in a painful or painless vein of a thankful or unthankful servant (of Allah).’ After an obligatory prayer hold your beard in your hand and say, ‘O Lord, relieve me from my pain with an immediate good health and remove hardships from me, say it three times and try it to happen with tears coming from your eyes and a feeling of weeping.’”

Arabic and English texts preserved verbatim from pinned snapshot. Compiler introduction excluded where present; references mapped to fields; assessment whitespace trimmed; source-supplied English sanad retained separately. Snapshot URL's erroneous volume 1 segment corrected to volume 2 using the reviewed file/book/volume metadata and publisher chapter structure; original URL retained for audit.
verification Note
Publisher content rights, translator attribution and structural checks, with independent publisher-page spot checks—not scholarly authentication or printed-edition collation. Historical text and scholarly reference strings may contain source errors; they are not silently corrected. No full commentary prose or inferred narrator identity is added. Muʿjam coverage, where present, is only the supplied excerpt, not the complete work.
