29. Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from abu Wallad Hafs ibn Salim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) in the two Rak’at of al-Witr. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, if you may need something, you can go out and when you are prepared, then come back to perform one Rak’at.’”
