Published English translation

17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the way women form their hairs. He (the Imam) said, ‘Combs were not available. They would only tie their hairs together.’ He (the Imam) mentioned four places and he (the Imam) said, ‘Women should make an effort in Ghusl (bath).”’
