29. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Ishaq from Ali ibn Mahziyar from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Sa‘dan from ‘ Ajlan abu Salih who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), said to me, ‘O abu Salih, when you help lift up someone’s coffin, consider it to be yourself being carried, as if you asked your Lord to give you a chance for returning back to the worldly life and your plea is granted. Think of how to live the new life. 5 The narrator has said that the Imam then said, ‘It is very odd indeed about the people whose predecessors are held back from returning to the present life and their successors are told to leave, but they are playfully unconcerned.
