1. [1/175] Rijal al-Kashshi: Muhammad b. Qulawayh from Sa’d b. Abdallah b. Abi Khalaf al-Qummi from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from Abdallah b. Muhammad al-Hajjal from al-Ala b. Razin from Abdallah b. Abi Ya’fur who said: I said to Abi Abdillah عليه السلام – I cannot meet you at all times and it may be impossible to travel [to reach you], it happens that a man from among our companions comes and asks me – but I do not have something [an answer] for everything that he asks me about [what should I do?]. He عليه السلام said: What prevents you from [going to] Muhammad b. Muslim al-Thaqafi – for he had heard [narrations] from my father and had a most favorable position with him.
